In 1980 Howard ventured into business on a recommendation from a family friend. She said that there should be a handyman service in this town. Howard decided that he would provide that service. That is how Handy Howie began. From that time Handy Howie grew to become Intown Maintenance and Management.
Intown Maintenance and Management is commonly known today as 1 Stop Home Repair. Over the past years, Howard has established an exceptional personal and business reputation. If he puts his name on a project it will be done right, guaranteed. In the past five years One Stop Home Repair has expanded our work area to include Acadia, Portland, Greenville, and every town in between.
Our residential and commercial customers are very important to One Stop. As communities change and grow, so does One Stop Home Repair, and it will continue to do so to meet their needs. Howard wants to continue establishing new relationships as well as maintaining the service he provides to those who have been a part of the One Stop Family for the past 22 years.
Melanie Dresser
Melanie went to college at University of Maine in Orono. Her major areas of study where: psychology, business, computer science, and anthropology. Melanie’s varied life experiences have made a significant contribution to the One Stop Team. Melanie has worked in many fields; doing roofing, vinyl siding, interior and exterior painting, interior design and running a granite company. Melanie came to work at One Stop Home Repair in 2000. Her original title was Office Manager and through the years she has proved invaluable in many aspects of this company, her duties have expanded to include Job management and estimating. Melanie enjoys taking on a project and going the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied and the project is completed properly.
Russ has been an electrician for over 30 years. His exceptional service has made him a crucial member of the One Stop Home Repair team. Russ is, above all else, a professional, and meets all regulations and takes all precautions to make sure the jobs are done to federal and state regulations.
Roger has been a master plumber for approximately 40 years. His skills and knowledge are unmatched in the area. His attention to detail and concern for the customer is well thought of by the locals in the area who would not consider any one else for their plumbing needs. He is a critical member of our team and we are very fortunate to have access to his services.
Jim has 20 years worth of carpentry under his belt and can complete all projects to the level of perfection that we expect of all the technicians at our company. He has great attitude and eye for detail. We look forward to many years of cooperation with Jim. We are very lucky to have him on our staff. He is an outdoor enthusiast and loves to help others.
Scott Nason
Scott has been one of the top finish carpenters in the area for 8 years. His attention to detail and customer satisfaction are unparalleled. He takes the time to make sure every detail is perfected. His craftsmanship is valued by On Time Remodeling and appreciated for the work he has done for IM&M customers. Scott takes pride in his work and One Stop is proud to have him on our staff.
Carpenter- Remodeling Division
Jeremy is one of the most charming young men in our company. He is always ready to lend a hand to get the job done. I have seen his skills improve over the time he has been with us and in time with the tutelage of Scott and Jim he will be a new generation of carpenter that you will seek out to have do all the work in their homes.
Phil is a wonderful addition to our Sunshine Plumbing division. He is enthusiastic and willing to learn all that he can to become a division leader someday. He possesses many useful abilities and his 1st priority is the customer.
Howie has come to our company with a lot of experience in finish carpentry. He is conscientious and detail oriented. His care and concern produces wonderful results and is an asset to our firm. Howie will make your home a beautiful place!
Brian is a detailed oriented carpenter with project skills for the large jobs down to a doorknob. Also Brian is trying to gain the final few hours for his journeymen’s license for the Electrical Division. He is multiple skills are widely used in all divisions. We are very happy to have him aboard.
Handyman Tech
Andy is an incredible addition to our summer staff. He brings plenty of construction knowledge and skills to our company. He has worked in the field since he could hold a hammer. He is a student at the University of Maine for Construction Management. If you are lucky enough to have him work on your home, you will be more than satisfied.

Casey is also summer staff. Casey is extremely skilled and creative. His expertise is knowing exactly what needs to be done in order to meet deadlines. He is willing to go the extra mile anytime. His craftsmanship is outstanding and his problem-solving skills are unmatched.

Amy is a new addition to our team. She is very efficient in dealing with the every day operations of the office. Chances are the Amy will be the first person you talk to when you schedule work with any of the company’s teams and she will be the last person you talk to when she calls to verify that the work has been done to your satisfaction. She specializes in customer care. Her main goal is to make sure you are helped in a timely manner. She will do everything possible to make sure you are satisfied with your service. You are guaranteed a smile and warm greeting when speaking with her.
Lynne Saucier

Lynne is also a new addition to the One Stop team. Currently a student studying in the medical field, Lynne brings over 20 years of customer service experience to her role at One Stop Home Repair. Having worked for and then managed a family owned business, she is well versed in the importance of customer satisfaction and being a team player.
The One Stop Home Repair Team has many more qualified and licensed professionals ready to provide the service needed for any home and/or business improvements. We also do complete background checks on all employees to give the customer that added security. We care about our customers!
